Parliament Coffee is an espresso and coffee lovers dream. The people behind Parliament are passionate and dedicated to providing a top-notch coffee experience. When I was tasked with creating the branding for Parliament (at Two Paperdolls) I knew I wanted to do something memorable and unique. I wanted Parliament to fit in to the urban environments that it would be opening in. I was inspired to use a lion as the mascot after seeing the statues of the lions outside of the British Parliament. I drew the lion in the same style of the typeface to marry the two—editing the typeface so it was legible and unique.
